hillary clinton and much of the Dem DNC establishment is going after Tulsi Gabbard for opposing regime-change wars
they claim that she is a Russian agent, and that she is being groomed by the Russians and do so while presenting zero evidence
Tulsi risked her life for her country, and while this does not mean she is not capable of corruption, she has way more skin in the game when it comes to being a patriot than the people who are smearing her with unsupported accusations of treason
Russian bots are extremely easy to fake
saudi arabian and chinese influence in think tanks
according to this reason the, now deceased, anti-war Left of just ten years ago were all agents of Saddam Hussein bc he agreed with them that US shouldn't invade Iraq
this was the exact same attack the Dem establishment correctly condemned when it was used against them by war-mongering Republicans
today "the queen of the warmongers" and her minions, have turned around and launched these same attacks against progressives in their own party who argue against regime-change wars
what is the argument against regime change wars
how can people who cheered Obama for standing up against Iraq, for doing a deal with Iran, for saying he would meet with dictators with no precondition, turn around and claim Tulsi is Assad's puppet when she argues against regime change wars?
The DNC Dems do this because for many, opposition to war was not about principal but power. It was only the most convenient path to political power, rather than any kind of deeply-held belief
And this is how it is for politicians on both sides of the political aisle. Say anything, and do anything for power, and many of us, too busy to get involved in figuring out the truth, follow along blindly as our elites feed us contradicting narratives designed to keep them in charge
