Update (same day): we pressure-tested this on a real 5,000 session index, my whole history back to February, because retrieval quality at scale is the only honest test.
It showed us where to tune, so we shipped 4.9.1 within hours: substantial conversations now rank over tiny auto-save fragments, and the one-time indexing step runs clean.
Already installed? Just run npm install -g indelible-mcp@latest again to pick up 4.9.1.
This is what building in the open looks like. Test it hard, fix it fast, same day. And because the meaning-index is a rebuildable cache over your permanent on-chain memory, every retrieval improvement from here lands on the history you already own. No re-saving, no migration, ever.
The chain remembers. We just keep teaching it to understand. 🔥

4.9.2 is up. Same day, third pass, each one tested harder than the last.
This one is about respect for your results: sessions now show what they were actually about instead of "Auto-save (2 new messages)", duplicates are collapsed, and you can steer any search with ranking: blend, keyword, or semantic.
Already updated today? One more npm install -g indelible-mcp@latest and you're on it.
Ship, test, tune, repeat. The chain remembers. 🔥
