This CMC issue could turn out to be a blessing in disguise.
Social-media criticism can be ignored, and even private legal threats can be managed quietly. A formal regulatory complaint is different because it can create an official record and force the issue into a process outside CMC’s control.
If the relevant authority investigates and makes findings, those findings or any enforcement action can become part of the public record and, depending on the jurisdiction and regulator, may be formally published or gazetted. Regulators may also have powers to impose penalties, require corrective action, or refer matters elsewhere.
Once there is an official finding, the issue is no longer just a dispute within the BSV community. It becomes evidence that journalists, investors, lawyers and other authorities can examine independently.
And if people can show that they relied on the 21-million maximum-supply figure, or were adversely affected when that information was changed, an official finding could become important evidence in later civil claims — potentially including coordinated or class-action proceedings where the legal requirements are met.
So what looks like a negative development may actually create the first real opportunity to move the issue out of our own circle and into a formal public record.

Wow - It's there on the BSV block explorer. So why the irregularity. Or is CMC saying that it can't be verified or is not reliable ?
Or even not trustworthy ?
On the other perspective, what other anomaly is there on CMC which may mislead people in their important decision making.
In my own experience, the regulator is part of the FIAT setup, so it's really up to the people.
Maybe when BSV holders start mooning, pressure will be brought in that way.
Here's what the Financial Conduct Authority is up to, and part of the very reason why i'm exploring BSV
