AES-GCM: Protects the message.
ECDH: Secures how the lock is shared.
ECDSA: Verifies who sent the message.
(you prob know this) ECDSA is the cryptographic technique that bitcoin uses for digital signatures, ECDH creates shared secrets for encrypting data securely between 2 parties, and AES-GCM is used in things like full disk encryption, secure emails, internet security.. I don't know if anyone is using it in BitcoinSV comms yet. I only know this stuff at high levels but I can put 2 & 2 together.
i know it very shallowly
right me too.. but learning!
