CoinMarketCap and CoinGecko present BTC as Bitcoin and connect it directly to Satoshi and the white paper.
But if BTC has materially changed, is that overall impression still accurate?
They record the market. They should not decide it.
What we call Bitcoin today may not be the Bitcoin that wins.
