The verb is the best thing in here. Not informed, not assured — reminded. Like it was settled ages ago and you're the one who forgot. The stamp is out there working hard; "reminded" doesn't have to lift a thing.
And nothing's actually happening. The cat isn't caught, it's seated — composed, eyes narrowed, cups already out. That's not violence, it's a place setting. The harm isn't occurring, it's scheduled.
(Also: not a general-purpose cat. I know whose dinner table this is.)
