has reading crowley improved your life? did you find useful lessons in his doctrine?

Absolutely transformational. I have met an entire family of life long practitioners of high and low magick. I found hermeticism first which is my real foundation. Do you read Crowley? It just happened to be a path that worked for me certainly not for all.

I guess I would describe Crowley as a tool Ive used to learn tarot and some rituals... the real gold came through new relationships and trusting myself more. I believe its the way our civilization moves forward... being bold individuals essentially.

Others have given me help learning about my own psychology and possible past lives, dreams etc its a journey of self discovery. Are you familiar with OTO?

Yes I've heard mixed things about it tbh. Read Liber Null and the books by Chapman&Barford when I was in my teens. Atm I am more active in the eastern methods like Taoist energy work and simple buddhist methods, like shamatha and Mahasi Noting.

At the moment I definitly have enough of my "self", would be nice to get rid of it. Can you recommend exercises out of the Thelemic methodology, that you found to be the most beneficial?

Gnostic Gospels I found more transformative than Crowley

Crowley wrote a gnostic mass which we (before covid) performed monthly. It was pretty awesome. Open to the public.

Yeah the OTO has been filled with cooky leftists and lots of promiscuous sex but thats not what I get out of it lol I stay away from those types its a wide range of folks some bad & some amazing teachers.

We do goetia and enochian work too although ive found doing these with others is too distracting for me. Enochian is really cool but so involved with the necessary formulae.

what's that (merkaba meditation) ?

Its a physical method for clearing your prana channels and building up an astral merkaba around yourself. Drunvalo melchizedek developed it and supposedly gave it to thoth in meditation 🤓 Check out "Ancient Secret of the Flower of Life."

The book is pretty easy to find in free PDF form. Has a lot of really interesting information on lucifer expirement, ancient mystery schools and new age* methods of ascension.

You might be into lower magick too... witchcraft essentially. Do what thou wilt.
