I have found certain ways of reducing sizes of gifs, all of which save money. I export from after effects using a gif export plugin. Reducing the width or height reduces size. Also the compression reduces weight. If u show me something I can advise better.

https://ezgif.com/optimize/ is a quick and easy way for most users, slide and check quality and size.

For the gif above I paid a dollar i believe. It's about a dollar a megabyte. It was way more before. I don't know what changed. I guess the cost went down the more people started using it.
