If the point of life is to become the best version of one's self, how else would you get there without having "too much pride?"

Aren't you supposed to be driven by one owns needs and desires?

I don't understand why pride is considered a sin.

Or is pride considered a sin because we can use it as an excuse when we dont get what we want?

I think me having too much pride is an insecurity, an insecurity that I might live this life and not get everything that I ever wanted.... The cars, the hunnnnies, the kids, the wisdom, the muscles, the career, the family, the relationships, the friends.

Is pride considered a sin because not EVERYONE can be the man?
