is it possible to measure how the Knovigator is growing through personal recommendations? If not for a reward, then purely to know how people arrive here?

besides, I think it's interesting to get a feel for how networks grow.
On the Knov I feel a bit like a mushroom digging around in the dirt spreading MYcelium tentacles, would be good to know it I'm about to bump into a big tree or go over a cliff or something interesting like that.
