The "Phoenix" portion of this blockchain art utilizes the ordfs URL (https://ordfs.network/content/cf10afaa9b4429a25a77c27a2379b08120e95a286004728798afafef7855f828_0) of a JPEG image stored on the BSV chain, hard-coded into the HTML file. In other words, it's a "recursive inscription."
However, a few days ago, due to an issue with the ordfs network, this generative art temporarily lost "Phoenix." (It has now been restored.)
The ordfs network is open source and is expected to become increasingly decentralized in the future. However, currently, only its developers, David Case and Satchmo, are operating and maintaining it, making it appear highly centralized and a single point of failure.
However, I look forward to the growth of this infrastructure, including the BSV chain.
The blockchain art I create may be unstable due to the many dependent elements it has compared to self-contained JPEG images, videos, or audio files. It may even be significantly lacking in permanence.
But even so, I want to continue creating art that allows you to feel the breath of the BSV chain. Even if I fail many times, I will continue to try again and again.
Just like Phoenix, which is reborn again and again.
