Personally, I'm just against the algorithms that power these platforms. The EU shouldn't ban Twitter just because it's a right wing echo chamber, but the algorithms pushing exclusively right wing content on these platforms should be banned. Even if not for the political reasons, these algorithms are incredibly harmful for mental health, and the world would be a better place without these algorithms.
This is my exact stance on the TikTok situation in the US. Regulate the algorithms, not ban the platforms

Im Conservative, yet most of my feed is filled with leftist politics.
If you're seeing a ton of Conservative content, its probably because the algorithm has you flagged as left leaning.
Controversy breeds interaction, which is what I believe the algorithm favors.
The UK politicians know this is true also (that it isn't a right wing platform). They just pretend it is to push their censorship agenda which is their broader goal.
They simply want to control the narrative, regardless of whether it's left or right. Like how old Twitter was where they could banish all dissenting voices so they could push mass propaganda, at will (see dangerous and ineffective covid vaccines, or the removal of Presidential account for examples).
