Per the Numpties discussion this week with @4179 and @109, here's a quick synopsis of the Sociopaths, Clueless, Losers framework.

See if you can apply it to crypto.

I been saying this. The Gervais Principle applies to aggregations of humans at every scale, and BSV lawr beliebers are the epitome of clueless. They don't understand what they're up against

Twetch ·

that was a sobering discussion

Twetch ·

Speaking as a BSV lawr belieber, it's not that I belieb in lawr (I don't), only that lawr is the best path forward for BSV. At the end of the day, politicians resent the control bankers have over them, and in that lies our opportunity.

Twetch ·

at the end of the day politicians will have you killed & business burned down by a mob so you can be repossessed for dirt (by banks). They resent nothing.

Twetch ·

People with that kind of power do not like bowing to bankers. We can show them another way that is an easy sell to their constituents.

Twetch ·

🤦🏻 Theyre culling the constituents right now and no one even notices lol GOOD LUCK.

Twetch ·

I don't like politicians any more than you do, but that doesn't change the fact that they hold the keys to mainstream BSV adoption.

Twetch ·

Politicians do not resent bankers and they do not hold the keys to mainstream BSV adoption in any way shape or form.

They are followers, not leaders. They want self-preservation. They will go where they must.

The market/culture leads.

Twetch ·

we are already adopting it. we should also adopt a new form of government and render them obsolete.

Twetch ·

Please tell hippies, Ron Paul supporters, the new ‘tea party’, Bernie sanders supporters, Trump supporters, and even early BTC adopters that culture leads the way, and you will learn that notion is false.

Twetch ·

And, at the highest levels, politicians definetly resent bankers. They view themselves as kings beholden to no one.

Twetch ·

Exhibit A

Twetch ·

Exhibit B

Twetch ·

What is this supposed to show except that politicians are deferential to their overlords, which goes to @2956's point. If they feel resentment they do not show it, because they know where their bread is buttered

Twetch ·

Bitcoin offers politicians the opportunity to cut bankers completely out of the power dynamic, and to take the reigns for themselves alone. There is no more powerful motivator for people engaged in the game of thrones.

Twetch ·

Not really. Bitcoin empowers creative people to capture more of the value that they produce. It doesn't do much for most politicians, who are generally useless and parasitic. They are happy with the negative-sum economy, they just want more power within it

Twetch ·

Maybe it enables a new breed of creative and useful politician, but that's not who we have right now

Twetch ·

Yes really. Given the choice between being the most powerful people in the world, but with a fixed money supply, or being the 2nd most powerful people in the world with bankers controlling the money supply, politicians will be tempted by the former.

Twetch ·

"generally useless and parasitic"

I'm dying 🤣

Twetch ·

Money != power in a bitcoin economy
