At the Egyptian Coptic Church down the road, I visited recently and they told me they pronounce it “Yes-ooo-ah” with an almost if not silent h, but I have heard other variations.

They are derived from what they say is the first of the churches - originally founded by St. Mark. I looked it up and again it said that it is the earliest Christian Church denomination.
