When people ask why God would allow for pain and suffering in the world, the answer is simple: People choose to have these experiences.
Neither does the notion of God eliminate free will. He already knows what you have already chosen to do and experience.

I don't think pain and suffering matters at the end. That is why it exists.
Do you care that you had pain or suffered in a dream? When you wake up it doesn't matter at all.

Pain and Suffering are the same as Pleasure and Joy. Its just the other side of the spectrum.

Pleasure can be just as detrimental to a person as suffering. They are very closely linked. I don't think pain serves the purpose of finding pleasure. I think they're both illusory.
Without stressors, growth stagnates. Examples are bountiful everywhere in nature.

That's a good point. So people consciously or subconsciously decide to go through painful experiences in order to grow.
When you go to the gym it's a conscious decision. When you make the same mistake out of ignorance it's subconscious.
