The past ~15 years of the Internet has trained people that quantity is the most important aspect of establishing your network in social media.
The next 5 years of Bitcoin, Twetch included, will teach people that quality is far more important.

It's not binary though. Quantity will still be a thing, just like quality is already a thing. But I do agree that paying directly will shift things in the quantity/quality spectrum towards quality.
Oh, certainly. I absolutely agree. Can't have quality without at least a quantity of one. That logic extends decently to higher quantities as well. But... It's a maximum, not a guarantee, and actual quality is not equal for every added unit of quantity.
