overall, it may be not hurting the network that much, that's right. But on that aspect, it's not more than a drop in the ocean at this moment. The negative effect still stays that it takes away attention off more dedicated and cooler projects. I just wanted to give the point of view of a new user, which could have a turn off on the first impression and most people are not going for a second one.
As somebody else on here said, sometime it's better to look at the harsh truth than hide behind some visions and illusions, because critical thinking helps to push things forward than just waiting for some vision to materialize.
