Yes I am. Signed decades ago. If they can salvage my dead body to make someone’s life better I don’t mind it.

Your already an organ donor over a long enough time, you don’t own the atoms that make up your body - might as well shorten the feedback loop
Twetch ·
That after death feeling is a strange one
Twetch ·
I don’t want the establishment to have another opportunity to part me out.

@1 interesting way to look at it. But if we don't own the atoms that make up our body, does that mean we don't own our bodies? If so, what do we own?
Twetch ·
Sad truth: Some hospitals will let you die if they see you're an organ donor + critical.
Another sad truth: Black market organ trade is massive and insidious.
I would donate after death as authorized by Power of Attorney but not via official programs.

Man you guys are pretty cynical!
Twetch ·
Even the white market organ trade is big business.
If someone is flipping my body parts for cash, my kin better get paid.
If it's pure charity, I'm game, but profile match me with a decent human being. Some people aren't worth saving.

Pretty good point actually.. never thought about it like that!
