Yes, us too... We sometimes felt as we should, because everybody gets kids around us, but none of us had a real desire to have, and thinking about all the time and trouble...

I won't claim to know what's right for you but keep in mind that kids are more of a long-term investment: I believe studies show that parents are less happy for first few years, more happy later than childless couples.

This may be true. I would say that happiness has nothing to do with kids. Likewise unhappiness. IOW Having kids won’t solve your problems.
