this is okumusashi (おくむさし釜炒り茶), a japanese kamairicha. kamairicha is a pan fried green tea (whereas sencha is steamed). this is a lot closer to how old chinese teas used to be produced. its quite interesting, lighter than sencha but still enough umami.
