Ok, so B: Bitcom | message | text/markdown | utf-8 | | | MAP Bitcom | SET... app, type, username...message Id, thread id and message sig. | AIP bitcom... AIP protocol.

Do I need everything? can I use treechat without AIP for ex? How do I get the Id thread and Id content?

Is there anyone out there who isn't selling jpg hashes?

Treechat doesn't index information from on-chain, it only posts information to it. If you broadcast a transaction manually, Treechat doesn't pick it up and won't show it. You should check out https://bitcoinschema.org as this is what Treechat uses

TY for the answer.

I dont get what s the point of posting info to the blockchain, if no one is going to use it... if treechat post onchain, but doesnt care about the info onchain done by others... what s the point of doing it? Other app can get what treechat is doing, but treechat aint going to use what other apps add...

I am reading the bitcoin schema doc, for a like they use map and aip... I dont really understand what is the bitcoin schema, is it like a type of Map?

MAP SET app <appame> type like tx <txid> | AIP BITCOIN_ECDSA <address> <signature>

TY again, I really appreciate ur answer

we did index other apps like twetch and hodlocker https://app.treechat.com/quest/70d8ccc7-a1a6-4380-8ce8-fe724b898407

The intention of putting information on-chain is that if Treechat were to ever shutdown like Twetch and Hodlocker did, someone else can rebuild the information themselves. meta just about beat me to it lol

you can find the streams in the navigation popup (middle treechat button in the bottom navbar)

someone could build a client for treechat also ... the point is the data lives independently of our proprietary database, and we dont claim ownership of it. in the future we could index all of bitcoin schema in real time as well, but that isn't the focus atm as there are other more pressing challenges

I understand. Thanks, you've saved me a ton of time haha. Great work, everything flows very well.
