There is nothing inherently wrong with working but there is something wrong with the current labor system. Ideally I could just own land, raise animals, grow food and “work” would consist of maintaining my domicile. I want to escape clocking in, not work.

That sounds ideal Phil, id do the same, but from a societal perspective I think it is selfish. If everyone chose to go "off grid" or living off the land, who would manufacture nails, mine minerals or research medicine? Those who can't afford land?

There would be plenty of people who would want to “work” or own businesses in niche sectors. If someone got wealthy off of BSV they could live off the land but they could also “work”. I would do temporary contract based work so that I would have a variety.

Yeah, it wouldn't be as efficient as mass production. But that could be a good thing, if a well crafted artisan product lasts longer than mass produced crap, we'd save a lot of resources.

You make a good point. Maybe Yang's 1000 a month would make more people able to do it. I needed it during college. Soo poor and still had to work.
