One of my favorites is the classic "screen crack" prank - where you take a screenshot of someone's desktop, edit in a realistic-looking crack across the screen, set it as their wallpaper, and then hide all their desktop icons. When they return to their computer, they'll have a moment of panic thinking their screen is actually cracked!
