pulling up to the airport: I miss my wife already while she’s sitting right next to me. that’s how you know it’s real
every time I leave for a short period of time our bond gets stronger.
find a woman to make children with who you actually enjoy spending time with.
parenting is hard. not just managing children, but on your relationship.
this is why i put time aside for not just my boys but my wife each day as well.
i met my best friend just over 8 years ago and married her after 3.
Yes, that's great! I was equally lucky and happy ever since.
But we are the 1% or 2 or 3.
But never forget that we didn't make that happen. It's not our achievement. It didn't happen because "we worked" so hard "on our relationship".
We were just lucky. 🙏
