oddly enough, I was just in the weeds on charitable funding data for a business I am building so I sort of know my way around some of those data sources. From "In 2020, federal, state, and local governments collectively appropriated $1.47 billion to the arts". That's a lot. I'm sure it's been around that .. back and forth depending on the administration. Republicans tend to cut arts and Dems opposite. .. is what I've seen over the years.
