precise I must say, 3.15, I'll try it!
If I get the eggs straight out the fridge, I have to put em in a pot and run hot water on em to warm em up, I find if I put em in the hot water straight from fridge the egg cracks and you end up with snide egg,

I usually leave them out so they get to room temperature and i inspect the egg looking for like little fault lines. Because thats where they crack lol i know im a maniac. Also thats the way i like them play with the time.

Yes it's a talent to get a good soft egg, many hours of trial and error spent that's for sure!
Still it's a person of patience, that wins the spoils of the perfect egg to dip their soldiers in... The simple things in life er!

I'm with you face, gotta keep ya eye on the fault lines, my eyesight is getting so bad I need one of them big eye thingies to check the fault lines out.
the room temperature method is a good one, sometimes I don't have time, hence the hot water method..
