Now, Brenton Gunning, Run: A platform to build apps and tokens on Bitcoin

I've seen and heard a lot about this. I'm excited for it.

Talking about the current client-server app model. Who owns data. Cloud. Etc.

Saying apps on Bitcoin will be more successful because of network effects of data.

Essentially, interoperability on a data level.

Twetch ·

Talking about Jigs. Sounds like tokenized assets. Objects.

Interactivity on every level. Protocols need to be common to do this. One language, even.

Uses Javascript.

Just listening right now. This is a very good, clear presentation.

Lots of promises of what Run can do. I hope they all pan out!

Twetch ·

This was a good one to just watch. Now, some thoughts...

A potential negative that I see here is that the interoperability requires using Run, or something compatible with Run.

I'm really hoping there will be some solution that is more generalized.

Twetch ·

Maybe that's asking too much. I admit I don't fully understand the challenges involved in creating this sort of a system. But... A guy can hope, yes?

In any case, this looks like a very useful tool/service, and I look forward to it being further expanded.

IP theft. What a low blow

Twetch ·

So some have claimed...

I have yet to see real evidence of that. Until I do, I can't pass judgment.

Accusations =/= truth, and I refuse to conflate the two.

Twetch ·

Yeah ok. Its obvious what has taken place. Its a dirty story, a story of greed and fame.

Twetch ·

It's obvious based on what evidence?

Twetch ·

Are you stupid?! Enough

Twetch ·

I am asking for the evidence you are operating on to deem it obvious. What part of that indicates that I am stupid?

If it is so obvious, then share the evidence and I'll come to the same conclusion as you have, right?
