Why do you think socialism is *this* strong in France?
That's the side effect of socialism! 70% of tax if you sum it all. Not being able to reap the reward from your work leads to depression
good question. I think we don't have an history of liberty, as france was never created on grounds of liberty like Switzerland or the USA were. Thus we teach our kids about the french revolution, but not about liberty.

How do you think we start reversing that trend ?
I work on a PoW based education system. Been working on this for 3 years now.
So yeah... Disrupting the education system seems like a good place to start
Also, the environmental concern in France (and Europe in general) is strong, and socialists gamed this well.
They blame capitalism, I blame unaccountability.
BitCoin will make this cristal clear soon
Yes I think education is where it starts.
Yes I think education is where it starts. It's hard because you can't expect to see the results of your work in the decade, but it is the only way. Education & culture.
What is a PoW based education system ? first time I hear about it
I think I just described BitCoin lol

Students have a list of challenges and problems to complete.
Each challenge rewards an amount of money tied to the challenge difficulty
Students compete within a closed environment (highschool, for example).
Haha yes that's BitCoin but if education can follow that model it will be much better. I like your idea,
Haha yes that's BitCoin but if education can follow that model it will be much better. I like your idea, but you would pay students in real money or just play-money? if play-money what the money can be used for? How is it going to be a profitable business?
I am quite uncomfortable with the idea of making kid stake real money in their education.
But also, if we use play-money where’s the incentive ?
The Endgame being to prep kids for this Knowledge Economy that is shaping under our eyes
even super small amounts of real money mean a lot as a kid so that might be the solution! or playmoney that you can redeem at a school's store so it is a bit real
Do you have a way to make it profitable to run ? who will finance this new education system?
Up to recently, i was evaluating the June (G1) cryptocurrency, which is based on Stephane Laborde’s Relativity Theory of Money as playmoney.
But if we develop a clever faucet system, BitCoin is all we’ll ever need
Re: profitability. BitCoin will attract the best teachers in the world (already is), and make them very wealthy. Content curation can also be easily profitable. But quality content and curation does not guarantee quality education.
The decisive factor for quality education is mentoring and caring. The younger the kid is the more expensive and the less scalable it gets.
So here’s a really hot take:
*A capitalist economy would not be sustainable without a giving economy*
