What month/year did everyone first get into Bitcoin?

First heard of crypto in October 2011 when Litecoin launched and they spammed every channel on Freenode. I didn't try it until a couple years later.

I didn't get in BTC until September of 2018...started researching BCH shortly after and followed BSV from the 15th of November.

My friend gave me 3 back when it was cheaper for some furniture in my house, I sold it at 12k and gave him 30,000$ back because he just had twins and they needed a bigger house, I gave it to him as a gift for his baby shower and put a note in saying 3=36k

He almost had a heart attack, he didn’t even remember BTC at that point and when he opened the envelope he freaked haha, But he gave it to me and He needed it, my best friend and his kids deserved a nice start.

I heard u it's crime, I was already buying then, the exchange opened it up

Thanks...I thought I was late to the game...but apparently we are still very early as everyone is still left thinking BTC is the real Bitcoin and BSV is just a fork of a fork 🤷‍♂️

I’m realizing more and more how lucky we are to be here right now. The world doesn’t realize yet what’s going on with $BSV and projects like Twetch but they will soon.

He gave me more than the money could ever mean to me, he was there for me through everything and at times he shouldn’t have been, I’m lucky to have him and I’m glad I could help him avoid struggling to start, they have a beautiful family now

Was mining before there was anything you could do with it. I think at the time you had to backup the wallet.dat and my life was going too fast for all that. Next time was around 10 cents and then 9$ couldn't even use then. Not until gox.

Real Bitcoin OG 🙌 I wish I was in it back then and able to mine my own coins.

At the time the pc got hot and it had no purpose. Probably found a block every day or so but it had no purpose so eventually you stopped mining and went back to life.

I understand why I didn't keep them. They were just a digital number not much different than a score in a game. It still cost electricity and heated and slowed the pc significantly.

Yeah...If I was introduced to it back then I don't think I would have taken it that serious....easy to say now looking back with hindsight...about turning back the hands of time all the things we would have done differently.
