A mistake investors are making, professionals more egregiously than novices because they should know better, is that high inflation destroys the stock market. Stocks do well in hyperinflation because people buy anything that has tangible value.

The DJIA was flat from 1966 to 1982. Measured against inflation (CPI), investors lost 72%. And if you think CPI understates inflation, they did even worse.
You think it's preferable to buy physical precious metals for the next years instead of stocks? We have 20% tax on physical silver/platinum and 0% on gold but German media already connected gold to Nazi Germany so prohibition might not be far away.
Physical metal will probably beat stocks, but on the way up, gold mining stocks will probably beat gold. I'm skeptical of confiscation or prohibition. Germany will do well with or without the euro.
