it should definitely not take more than you upvalue ever, but there's an issue with our balance calculation right now. it fluctuates depending on what's confirmed vs unconfirmed if you have a lot of utxos in your wallet.
you can check on whatsonchain by clicking on the green upvalue text on a msg, then clicking the block icon for one of your upvalues. for you they'll almost always show like this with 85 going to the person you upvalued and 15 to treechat (the 0.0025197 is change going back to your wallet)
