I may be naive but i sincerely give out courtesy likes in the hope that Karma will reward me. Be the change you wanna see.

Karma or not, likes should be given more often and with less calculation. Content that interest you should be rewarded.
Yeah definitely, too often some people almost seem to take pride in not liking content as if they are tastemakers but i believe promoting other content almost sporadically will help everybody in the long run, it's nice to be nice.
