The male equivalent to a promiscuous woman isn't a promiscuous man, it's a coward that stands by when predators attack women and children.
A coward and a whore both choose the easy path, instead of fulfilling their most sacred respective duty.
This allows the prediction that male cowardice and female promiscuity tend to rise together, something that is confirmed everywhere you look.
And it makes sense: men aren't particularly inclined to put their life on the line for a whore. And women aren't particularly inclined to be monogamous with a coward.
