It’s filled with dumb western socialists so yes it’s a shithole but if you can take advantage of that, it’s a pretty good business climate.

Bali is actually quite beautiful, but Westerners also take full advantage of it (for better or for worse). Great life for expats and digital nomads, but hope knowledge rubs off on the locals over time.

Bali is where bogans (garbage) Australians go for a cheap piss up,that is what their economy is built on, you're better off in Eastern Europe, somewhere like Hungary.

I like Bali a lot. Especially if you go a bit more to the Western part. Whatever land you can get there is likely going to increase a lot in value over the coming years. You've been to Bali right? Didn't like it?

Eastern Europe is great too, but not as sunny.

I personally really like Bali, but not the overcrowded tourist spots. Some very incredible beaches and small towns, I think the more isolated the more beautiful. The entire coast from Padang Padang and down to Uluwatu is so beautiful

Because I prefer Singapore, but I know many who live in Bali and enjoy it. Each to their own.
