My main problem is figuring stuff out, then forgetting what I’ve learnt later and having to re-learn it again. Hence why I’d like to create an app that allows you to log data points and discoveries for later use and data analysis. It would be great to have an app that could resurface old data points and important notes when they are needed again, in my own case, often at similarly recurring points in the month/year.

right you mentioned that here as well https://home.treechat.ai/quest/adding-ability-use-ai-login-take-next-level-afa29e45-131a-445d-9964-c1382a7e74b3
one feature we're thinking about implementing soon is like an email compilation of your best threads, daily, weekly, monthly, annually etc... and can get pretty sophisticated about resurfacing things that way by relevance to what you are working on reading in the moment
Right!... I really need to stop thinking about it and make a start on it. There's never been a better time to start. I think having a treechat-style backend would be totally awesome as it's so user friendly and intuitive and the info is all there, not buried in a database. I imagine it with a sundial style overview/dashboard page to summarise the day/week/month. Probably trying to invent an entirely new interface is a dumb thing to do, but I might have a try first before I abandon the idea.
this might be helpful as well... quick streams demo
Cool! I think maybe I did that with my ToDo list - I managed to give it a cover image in any case.
there are also Spaces which are similar to a slack workspace, and is essentially a stand-alone Treechat instance with its own url that you can run for its own app and community at its own url... its still very alpha though
Oh wow, cool. I didn't know about that! I think that may be a way of separating the health app out from the main treechat app. The thing is, it needs to be private by default and kind of idiot proof, so you're not accidentally posting about your headache (or worse) to the public, lol! If it was in a different Space entirely, it would separate it out. I think you'd need a different coloured background as well, and other ways of demarcating it as a private space/walled garden.
right that makes sense... [[treechat user feedback]] how to give spaces their own identity
So I made a new Health Journal stream! I might try using it in the ways I'm talking about and see how it works/fails. The main issue I foresee is that it needs to be timestamped and searchable by date.
Maybe it would be nice to categorise the sticky note as 'Learnings' or 'Useful web links' by changing it's colour, or giving it a list header maybe?
I actually built myself an app called Myhealthdiary.app that anyone can use if they want to, though it’s still very much in beta and not all features are finished yet. It allows me to log my health insights (so I don’t have to keep relearning them over and over) and analyses all my entries to give me AI generated insights and spot patterns in the data too. You can add voice notes and take photos of your meals to track macros as well. It’s wild what’s possible now! I used Replit to build it.
