For those on MacOS, so the following:

1. Open "Terminal"
2. Copy paste this and hit Enter:

sudo nano /etc/hosts

3. Copy paste this into the last line of that file:

127.0.0.1 twitter.com

4. Save with: (Ctrl & X) then (Y) to confirm.

5. Profit.
