that'd be different - learning language through food is a great beginning. (I lived in Germany for 3 years and food was how I started - everybody eats).
Also, it would be really interesting to learn more about Italian food culture - I LOVE(d) Italian food... when I lived in Germany we visited Italy quite a few times and I always came back a couple of kilo's heavier. I was not fond of the German dishes so I didn't eat a lot there.
Now I've simplified and I only eat meat, eggs, yoghurt.
