I’m starting to understand this platform. This is a fresh take on organising social interactions and the information generated from interactions.

Am I exaggerating when I say this could be a Twitter killer? Upvoting = Retweeting is peak on its own. Content creators can generate revenue from old content as they gain new followers. It’s so seamless. People do it without thinking. You choose your amount and move on.

I’m using mobile but I can already see the potential, on desktop, of having the tabs open in a canvas type UI. Combine that with private streams that have a good control settings and you could compete with Discord.

I'd say it could be a hybrid twitter/reddit

not sure about discord. iv been moderating discord servers for about 7 years now and I think just the overall navigation of discord with the channels and voice channels is a lot simpler so people would gravitate it as its easier to pick up.

I think discord is also different in the sense it's not made to be a social media platform I'd say it was more for specific communities to socialise outside of mainstream platforms.

discord does have some very cool apps you can implement, like in-app wallets, various bots like music streaming gaming and it's various security and ai bots. that being said discord features would be easily implemented into a social media platform

I’d say I don’t have much experience with Discord but that sounds more accurate tbh. Twitter/Reddit does make more sense. You must’ve loved the channel you were moderating. 7 years??!! That’s like a relationship 🫡 @Brooz
