I'm naturally an emotional person.
There's all sorts going on within me at any moment.
One thing I've learnt on my self-development and authenticity journey is not to control my emotions.
That's just a waste of energy and leads to more stress for us emotional types.
I just let them flow and listen to what they're telling me.
Both positive and negative.
They're giving me valuable information.
They are my compass.
I listen to them, understand them, journal deeper about them, then take steps to get me closer towards happiness and what I want.
Movement is also a big one for me, "motion is lotion" as they say.
I've started calisthenics, it's fun and looks cool not gonna lie.
When I keep moving, my energy stays moving too, and the emotions can flow through me without getting blocked or stagnant.
Sometimes I just need to get out the house into a fresh environment, cleanse my aura from the negative draining energies around me and just be a big kid outside in nature alone.
