I'm going to be honest, I've been putting off introducing BSV wallet to many friends because I really want to get them started with the handcash wallet (due to it's simplicity) but don't want them to have to transition from 1.0 to 2.0 versions.

Agree , Im sorta changing that too. My style is intro to moneybutton since it connects to more apps then have them watch the streamanity video city on chain and intro to agora . Win win win !
