I’m curious what your thoughts on scalability of PoW is, if all miners hash is a 256 bit Merkle header and that header can come from an infinite sized block, does that mean throughput can also be infinite?

Any resources/feedback appreciated.

I worked with Ralph Merkle and often ate lunch with him. He was a big fan of dry nano-tech at the time. I argued that wet nano-tech was already a happening thing and we should use the tools so freely provided to us.

Wow that’s awesome you worked and had lunch with such a legend.

Maybe you can dumb this down a little for me, unsure of what exactly wet vs dry nano tech is in the context of a merkle tree?

Wet nano-tech is also called molecular biology. Dry nano-tech is not. Wet uses the existing tools of biology, mRNA CRISPER and the machinery of the cell itself. Dry nano-tech is currently a dream or called chemistry.
