I'm curious as to why people think that Roger Ver would return to #Bitcoin.
Bitcoin is not anonymous, anti-government, anti-bank, or crime friendly. So why would a man that has been longing for anonymity ever contemplate using Bitcoin?

When Bitcoin is globally adopted and fiat has hyperinflated into nothing, what else will he use?
I don't think Fiat is going anywhere anytime soon. But maybe our currencies will revert to being gold, silver or Bitcoin backed tokenized on Bitcoin. No one knows for sure yet. Individual countries will always have their own currency imo.
I think RV was an enthusiastic young dude with good intentions at the beginning of bitcoin. His journey jaded him over the years. But in the face of true unbridled innovation and the benefits it brings people, I think he would be touched by Bitcoin again.
I'd say he longs for equality rather than anonymity. He just has this very warped and frankly stupid vision that Govts only do bad things. I cringe when he questions other people's knowledge of economic theories, saying they never read XYZ.
