I’m a believer in Christ, conservative, music teacher who loves all things hobbity. (Give me a book, a set of blankets, a cup of tea with snacks, and a warm cat and I am content for hours. I also love Star Wars, gardening, C.S. Lewis and the Rabbit Room.

9 lonely minutes before someone nice responds? Unacceptable! Not you Hobbit. How's it going

Thanks for the greeting! This looks like it should be fun. I’m just looking for a place that supports free speech and expression without censorship. I’m tired of Big Tech bullies. -_-

Mostly fantasy. But I'm good with any book that whas a good plot. I am currently reading Ready Player One. The main character does not believe in God but the story is good. How about you?

I mostly enjoy fantasy and science fiction, as well as poetry & theological non-fiction (NEEEEEERD! XD)
Recently finished the Wingfeather saga by Andrew Peterson which was incredible. Ready Player was good. Have you read Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card?

I haven't read Ender's game but I am hearing good things about it. What do you think? Wingfeather Saga? Also one on my TBR. Have you read Chronicles of Elantra?

I strongly recommend the Wingfeather saga. It is very affordable on Lifeway at the moment! I enjoyed listening to the audible book as well. I will look into Chronicles of Elantra!

Ender’s Game is mentally challenging and intriguing. Every character in it is highly intelligent and it is very satisfying to read if you enjoy intellectual people. It also has some nice themes about the value of life woven in.

I agree about Ender's game. I enjoyed my time with Ender and other characters. Have you read Speaker of The Dead?

Don't be afraid posting some bookish reaction on here. Who knows we can find more fellow bookworm to discuss with.

I have, but it has been a long time! I remember it being one of my favs though. My ultimate favorite is Ender’s Shadow. Bean is the best.
