Also I would love for my phone's triangle 'back button' to go to the previous page, instead of shutting down Treechat.
It's faster to use the triangle for my thumbs because of close proximity to the virtual keyboard, than have to stretch the to top left corner of my screen to... go back.

i think its a good idea, but you dont have to stretch to the top of the screen, you can swipe between panels through the panel history
