The point is that speculation doesn’t create anything and is not a sustainable means of creating wealth. It’s parasitic to the people that are actually creating value and hurts the economy to benefit people that aren’t creating anything.

this is where you are wrong, speculative trading is trading futures, or margin where you never actually own anything. That is in essence gambling. Trading as such where you buy and sell to own commodities, coins or tokens is seen as investment.
