You never know what wil happen.
For this reason it is important to plant many trees. Only a few wil be still standing after 30 years.
I planted thousands in the last 40 years.
Did ones 3000 in 2 days with 3 gardeners i remember.
Also ones with a group of nature friends around 25000 in a day.
I had a nurcery and often planted 500 in a plant , not on their final place but just to grow for 1 or 2 years.
Planting and growing trees was and still is an important thing in my life.
