A long time ago I took part in a series of ayahuaska ceremonies. During one of them I asked God to let me see what was really going on because I never trusted any of it. Suddenly, everything changed and now seemed disgustingly seductive, fake, manipulative. I looked around and some people were dancing to the luring, slimey music, with wild eyes, others were screaming and vomiting non-stop. Nobody was themselves, all were taken by some rather sinister and dark force, but thought they were like gods - while looking like pigs from the outside. In short, it was exactly like Twitter.
