Proof of work *is* governance. These things are all deviations from PoW, and the reason is because most people don’t understand the value of the game yet.

PoW is the base layer of governance but it's very crude. It's like having a relationship where the only answer to a disagreement is to break up. SV is the result of two major disagreements in a governance-less system, and still carries this weakness.
