We are all born Players but most turn into NPCs for various reasons.
It is the choice that sets you apart.
Choosing to be your authentic, genuine, and true self, are traits that sets apart Players from NPCs.
It is a constant struggle though.

With the unlimited resources that would be available, u'd think there would be plenty of processing power to go around, for each person in the simulation. Maybe the amount of which is given to each person is a random amount in a given pre determined range.

I understand there could be NPCs. But would would be the point? If you're going to fire up a simulation, why not simulate a brain for everyone. Would probably be less tricky than having people with brains discover others are NPCs and question their reality

I think Joe was trying to say is that in THIS simulation, we're in the time period (next 50 years) where we'll make our own simulations due to the progress of technology but there's no proof that there's a simulation yet until Generation 23 Virtual Reality
