I figure there will be more things to do with liked posts in the future. Pin them on your profile etc so I try to like things I'll want to see again in the future.

Sure, there might be potential use cases, but as far as my time line is concerned, a branch or any interaction bookmarks it the same as a like. If keeping likes, they should be cheaper than other interactions since they have less overall value.

Likes feel like donations, not investments.
